I hate to ask you for money, but I need your contributions to make the voters aware of my candidacy. If the voters of Glendale don't know who I am, they will not vote for me.
It costs thousands to run ads in the Glendale Newspress, send out mailers to the registered voters, print campaign materials, call voters, and walk precincts to get the vote out. The most important aspect of my campaign is to educate and empower the voters of the City of Glendale.
I am confident that if the voters in our city are aware of my personal integrity and the 10+ years I have donated to our Jewel City on numerous committees, boards and the Glendale Water & Power Commission good governance will prevail over internal politics.
Your monetary contributions to my campaign ARE NOT Tax-deductible.
Campaign Contribution Limits:
The City of Glendale passed Ordinance # 5621 on July 29, 2008 which set a limit of $1,000.00 on campaign contributions per individual.
Types of Donations:
Cash ~ Check ~ In-Kind Services: Printing, Mailing, Graphics, Advertising, Greet & Meet, etc.
Public Records:
ALL Monetary and In-Kind contributions received must be reported on the California Fair Political Practices Commission Form 460. I must list the date the contribution was received, your full name, address, occupation and the amount you donated to my campaign.
I have a form you can complete to insure all the required information is properly collected from each contributor, this form requires your signature. All of my expenses are a public record. An expense report is available upon request.
